Thoughtful, Experienced, Respectful Practice
Welcome to Wellness Therapy Solutions. I offer counselling, trauma therapy, and clinical supervision, informed by over 30 years’ experience supporting individuals, whānau, and professionals.
I am Charlotte, a clinical social worker, counsellor, supervisor, and social work educator. My practice focuses on trauma therapy, anxiety, grief, family harm, emotional well-being, and life transitions. I work with individuals and whānau, offering counselling that may be brief and focused or longer-term, depending on individual needs.
I provide a safe, respectful space to make sense of lived experiences and move forward at a pace that feels manageable. The work is trauma-informed, relational, and practical, with a focus on safety, choice, and meaningful change.

My Approach
What Makes My Approach Unique
My approach is relationship-based and shaped by long experience. I work in a thoughtful, respectful way, with attention to autonomy, culture, and readiness. Safety and trust guide the work, and the therapeutic relationship is prioritised over technique.
My experience across health, social services, and justice settings means clients are less likely to need to repeatedly explain their circumstances. The work begins with safety and stabilisation, moving at a manageable pace. Trauma-informed approaches focus on calming the nervous system, restoring a sense of control, and reducing the ongoing impact of trauma on daily life.
